Community Outreach

As an advocate and wellness professional we are all invested in creating a community that is wellness minded, focusing not only on the mind, but the body and spirit. Apart of this we want to invite every individual to be apart of this community and understand that you can make a change and have an impact on the world. Each ripple we make, will reach another person, and soon enough there can be a cultural, sociological, and political shifts in our society that promote mental health wellness.

Feeling shame and guilt about who we are as individuals can be put to rest.

Rather than feelings and believing that shaming and guilting ourselves is a motivator to change or to push are ourselves to be more, or feel successful, we all can tell ourselves; I am strength, I am worthy, I am important and I love my body and self.

Presentations Offered

We are interested in spreading the body positivity/acceptance movement, which starts with each person moving from a place of feeling as though we have to push ourselves to success to a place where we are honoring ourselves in our own power to be strong individuals.

The presentation would be interactive allowing the group to feel apart of the community that is being built around body positivity rather than feeling they are receiving some lecture about how they "need to change". Stephanie Konter-O’Hara would lead the presentations and she is passionate about encouraging people to find strength to honor what they already are doing, and the freedom to make a shift to what is an effective long term state of growth in their performance and state of mind health. Presentations can be offered to your group/class/employees for $150/hour.

We can all find acceptance in who we are, just as we are. Finding movement in our minds can often be spark from movement in our bodies, which is why Stephanie does her best to incorporate the connection of the two.

Finding space, flexibility, peace in our body can help us transform the same movement in our minds.
